This is a useful tool. It is easy to navigate and easy to find the opposing viewpoints on topics. However it may be tricky for students to document the source. It is a good additional source but not a replacement for the printed opposing viewpoint series.
Looks like EbscoHost's version of SIRS. It does provide citation help, just as EbscoHost does in other collections. Target audience seems to be high school; However, level/presentation of both Points of View Ref. Center and SIRS may be appropriate for some of our students. Consider future impact of incoming "Tulsa Achieves" students on services/support we should be offering. Periodicals articles included in Points of View are available in other Ebscohost collections, but P of V "prepackages" and organizes information for the user. Also, notice the "how-to" tips: how to choose a topic, how to write a thesis statement--reinforcement and/or brand new concepts for many TCC students. If we get this, perhaps we can drop SIRS?
